She is currently a resident of New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando played the character of Maddie Coleman in the TV soap opera As The World Turns from 2005-2007 and for a couple of months starting late 2009 her character was reprised. Alexandra first made an acting appearance in 2002 through the TV series House Blend portraying the role of Jenna Harper. She played Maddie Coleman in the CBS TV soap As the World Turns for three seasons. Chando was first seen on television in True life (an American documentary) late in 2009. In 2009, she made her TV debut in another documentary, she appeared in Sherri, a TV show. Chando starred in two episodes on the American television show drama-comedy Glory Daze. Also, she was on Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
