Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22nd, 1984 in New York City New York. She is an American actor and singer whose talents have gained her recognition across a range of genres - from thrillers and action films to period dramas. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised by an father, an architect, and mother who produced. Hunter was twin to their younger sisters. From a young age she discovered a love for acting. She began making commercial auditions around the age of seven. She became interested in acting rapidly and she soon after to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In the age of eight, she starred alongside Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her debut in film in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson made her debut on screen in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who run away. Her next film won critical acclaim for her role in the film as a teen who suffered a disfiguring accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and gained more attention as cynical teen outcast Rebecca In Ghost World (2001). Renee Felice Smith's journey in entertainment began from a young age. Acting was her passion as young. Smith was offered her first acting gig in the age of 6 with her parents' help. She starred in a TV commercial for Dannon yogurt. In the same way as numerous young actresses, she began her professional career in the theatre. As she worked on other projects around the USA she also had her theatrical debut in Wildflower. Her education was at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
