Also called Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot the ace rapper who hails from Chicago Illinois, started gaining recognition after he started releasing songs on YouTube. In the beginning his releases included songs such as The Come Up and NEVER CARED. In the following years, he also made his SoundCloud debut by releasing the Mixtape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD". Gang With Me became his first number one single. It was later followed by Finer Thing. The song was written during his time in prison. This song was his first success and it earned him million of YouTube views, bringing his name to the front. In the following months, major record companies began looking into him. He reached a deal for distribution in partnership with Columbia Records and released Pop Out with Lil Tjay. The first single by the rapper reached the top spot on Billboard Hot 100 at number 22. A huge number of viewers watched the video on YouTube. Polo G was a YouTube sensation and gained a good amount of recognition through other social media sites like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
